Sunscreen? Check. Sunglasses? Check. Comfy spot? Check. Steamy book? Check. |
(If I could enter, this would be my comment: "I have a six year old and a three year old, so my summer will be spent pushing swings, drawing with sidewalk chalk and being perpetually sticky from opening popsicles.")
I'll choose a winner at random at 12 p.m. EDT Friday, June 21, to celebrate the solstice and the official start of summer with a bang (or a splash, which would be more appropriate for Diving In). Anyone who Tweets this link (and tags me, @bru_baker) will also receive an entry into the giveaway contest, so that's a chance to get your name in there twice!
Please do not enter if you're under 18. The book contains explicit sexual themes. I'll announce the winner on my blog and the winner will have 24 hours to claim it or I will draw another name at random and award it to that person. Leave your Twitter username (or email) with your comment if you like so I have another way to reach out.
Good luck!
I'd love to win!
ReplyDeleteI'm spending my summer getting back into shape and enjoying the scenery of Colorado (without the wildfires). I've suffered from depression for a few years and am finally at a point in my life where I am happy to leave my house during the weekends. I'm going to take advantage of that this summer!
My email is andreanugget@yahoo.com :)
I've never been to Colorado, but from the pics friends have taken, there's a lot of stunning scenery there. I'm glad you're at a point you can get out and enjoy it without anxiety! *g* Thanks for entering!
DeleteThank you! Colorado is indeed a beautiful state.
DeleteSounds like you're going to have a fun summer, Bru! I'll be going to class, studying, and fitting in as much writing and time at the beach as I can. :)

Yeah, we're all-fun, all-the-time around here! *g* Enjoy your beach time and thanks for entering!
DeleteI am a reluctant gardener, so I will spend my summer battling weeds (it is a banner year for them). It is worth when I sit on my deck with my favorite MM book, though!
ReplyDeleteskadlec1@yahoo.com
My 6yo can finally distinguish plant from weed, so he's we've put him to work this summer keeping our vegetable beds weeded. Yay for child labor! *g* Thanks for entering!
DeleteHi Bru! I'm wierd in that I'm not a big fan of heat, but I guess that comes form so many years of living in South Florida. My summer will be spent mostly in the nice cool A/c catching up on my writing, taking a holiday up to Orlando, and some nice days out with the family. Congrats on your new release!
ReplyDeletecharlie@charliecochet.com
Thanks, Charlie! I'm from the Midwest, which can be hot and muggy, but I've visited enough to know that summers in Florida make ours look downright chilly. Keep cool and thanks for entering!
DeleteHi Bru, not that I have that many followers, but tweeted your link link all the same. Here's hoping for a runaway smash hit. :)
ReplyDelete-Andy
Thanks for the signal boost, Andy! Every bit helps. *g*
DeleteThis sounds like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeletejanadenardo@yahoo.com
Thanks for entering. Good luck!
DeleteMy summer is all about working part-time jobs to pay for college.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway.

Hopefully you'll find some time to wedge something fun in there, too. Thanks for entering!
DeleteIt's raining where I am ... so no summer for me :D
ReplyDeleteinosha_w@yahoo.com
We've had a pretty rainy start here, too. Hope it dries out enough for some outdoor fun for you! Thanks for entering. :)
ReplyDeleteSo far, it's family events (niece's graduation and a bunch of June and July birthdays), and a potential jury duty stint in a couple of weeks! Hoping to fit in something fun after that, like a trip to SF or a concert or something...
ReplyDeletevitajex(at)aol(dot)com
Ugh, jury duty. You definitely sound like you're due some fun this summer! Good luck! *g*
